And I hate it. I've been battling this cold for a few days, and it just doesn't seem to want to go away. I hate calling in sick because I feel guilty and like I'm missing out on important stuff, but it just couldn't be helped. I'm supposed to run a half marathon in four days, so while I'd normally just suffer through work with this, I figured an extra day of rest would help me get better faster and be ready for Sunday.
So now I'm doing what I do every time I'm home sick. I'm watching the Colin Firth version of Pride & Prejudice. It's five hours long, so it's a perfect length for a sick day, and I've seen it so many times that it doesn't matter if I fall asleep in the middle. Does anyone else have any sick day routines? Or any Netflix recommendations for when I'm done with this?
