I sold a new laptop via eBay that my mom won from a contest. It's been a fucking rollercoaster, let me tell you. It was sold about 2 weeks ago. Last week, the person's payment was cleared through PayPal because they sent an eCheck. After it was cleared, I shipped the laptop out. This morning, I woke up to 2 emails from PayPal telling me that there was a bank reversal, so the person's bank apparently reversed the payment or something (still unsure about what that means right now—I thought the seller made the claim, but the PayPal customer service guy said it was the person's bank). So the money was taken away, and I had to prove that I shipped it out. FUCKING FUCK, this was a nightmare. Luckily, I had lots of proof via pictures and receipts and tracking information because I was really nervous about this whole transaction, you know? So I made sure to document everything.

After I submitted proof, I called PayPal and everything seems to be fine and the payment is back in my account and everything. But I was yelling at my parents, yelling at the world, and crying because I was so stressed out to wake up to those emails at 8 in the fucking morning. I was a mess. Also, I love my parents, but I'm never selling things online for them again. They can do it themselves. I've been a stressed-out fool over the past 2 weeks because I just had a feeling that something bad would happen with this transaction, and it did. Ugh. NEVER AGAIN!

I'm still nervous that something bad is going to happen again...ugh.
