I joined a gym the weekend before last, and I've gone four times. So far I've only used the treadmill, because I have a strategy: I'm trying to create the habit of simply showing up and moving for 30 minutes. I don't know if this will work, but it makes sense in my head.

I think I'm ready to move to other machines and use light weights. Last time I joined a gym, I really liked working on my core, so I know I'll focus on that and my thighs, but to be honest, I'm not really sure to begin. Does anyone have any good beginner exercises or routines? Also, I wouldn't turn down an "atta girl" or two. Thanks!
