Okay, so I wrote up a whole post about my skincare that just ended up reading like a creepy advertisement for snake oil. So, instead: Infadolan (retinyl acetate, I take it) is basically the best. Ads market it as the miracle cure to just about everything, but what I can say is that it is the only thing that works when my skin is insanely (INSANELY!) dry, wrinkled, tight, and irritated. I looked like a 90-year-old scaly sea monster with peeling skin yesterday, then followed some intense peeling/scrubbing with Infadolan and looked and felt - well, like a normal 30-year-old.

/ Snake oil advertisement over.

However, I’m slightly reluctant to keep slathering the gunk on my face every day (I mean, it’s meant for treatment of burns), so: what are your best tips for dry, dry, dry skin? I’ve tried all the usual things: basically any and all creams, moisturizers, and oils available, drinking more water, cortisone cream, a bowl of warm water in my room (for added humidity). So bring on the heavy guns - what works for you when everything else fails?
