To my fellow rural Americans, either by birth or that you moved there, what do you think about farmer's almanac? Do you think it's true or not true? Is it just like someone spit balling it or really accurately reading some early signs about the winter? I have mixed feelings about the Farmer's Almanac, mostly because we read it pretty avidly and it seemed pretty hit or miss to me. I would count on some warm, mild winter and I'd always be disappointed. ALWAYS. And who does that to children? The farmer's almanac.
