I'm selling two bar stools on Craigslist. Yesterday I got a text, from a number outside of my state, saying that someone wanted to purchase the bar stools and to please email them at a gmail email address. I emailed last night, and got this response back:
How are you doing? Thanks for informing me I definitely want to purchase this, I am only able to make payment via bank check at this time b/c I am away on assignment
The payment would be delivered to you next day via UPS.
As far as pickup is concerned, I will make arrangement for the this after payment has been received by you
If this is fine with you I will need your name and physical address for payment to be sent
It will be nice if you can send me more pictures
I don't mind adding extra fifty dollars so you can keep it in my favor.
Please take the posting off Craigslist today and consider it sold to me,
Expecting to hear from you soon Thanks for your understanding. Sandra
I find the bank check to be odd, as well as her being away on assignment. But I can't figure out how she would scam me with just my name and physical address. Legit or not? I'm totally a sucker for stuff like this and I need help!
