For your next bierstube, here is a recipe for a Cheese Hedgehog (I know that the recipe says porcupine, but we're Team Hedgehog here) from a 1964 issue of Bon Appétit. It's mostly cream cheese, butter and beer.

The gang at Bon Appétit recreated it, but they don't say how it tastes. It's gotta be good, right? It's a pile of beer-flavored cream cheese and butter. If any of you are brave enough to trythe recipe, please report back.
