I got my tattoo yesterday, and it’s gorgeous. The original plan was to do the line work and shading in one session and color in a second one. But her second appointment for the day cancelled, so we just went for it. 6 1/2 hours in total. I was done at 4, but my session lasted until 5:30... I was getting a little shockey toward the end, but fortunately had orange juice and almonds and granola bars with me.
It’s a bitterroot (pink, state flower of Montana), camas (Blue, flower I associate with Idaho), Indian Paintbrush (red, state flower of Wyoming), big sagebrush, and western wheatgrass.
The artist is amazing and I’m so happy with this piece! Though I’ll definitely be happier when it stops hurting.
