I went to Sam's and bought a bag of Halloween candy, just in case I get trick-or-treaters (there has to be a better work than that) tomorrow. I have never lived in a place that got them since leaving home. But maybe this place? I don't know. How does a non-parent know if they're in a trick or treat zone? I bought candy the first year at my old place too, just in case, but nary a child at the door. At least then, I had a roommate to help out with the sugar overload.
But it's also Thursday. And Thursday is wine, all of my favorite television programs and smoke night. The bag of candy is not going unmolested. And it was the best type - Reese's Peanut Butter cup, Almond Joy, Whoppers, Kit Kat, and Hershey's mix bag. There is no bad there. I am very scared that I will eat chocolate until I vomit, and then have nothing for the inevitable slew of children that come tomorrow to cause my dogs anxiety while begging for candy that I no longer have.
I should have waited to buy a bag on my way home tomorrow. Would have been such a better plan.
