I wrote a post a while back asking for job interview tips, which I was graciously supplied and I used, and it must have worked because I got a second interview! (Thanks! Youse guys are the best!) My second interview was last Thursday, and they told me I should know by the end of this week. The wait is freaking killing me!!

After having a slight panic attack about it today, I realized that my expectations of job interview call backs might be a little skewed. I started thinking about it, and I realized most job interviews I've ever had I have either had a good idea that I would get the job or I was hired that day. So, waiting two business days or more is a new experience for me. I'm also just really impatient.

Along with the waiting game today, I also found out that one of my three part time jobs is having to let me go due to budget cuts. Right now, I am an adjunct instructor at a community college and a for-profit and work in a writing center at a 4 year university. The writing center gig was the one to go, so now I really need the position I interviewed to work out. I absolutely refuse to return to the for-profit after this current session because it makes my life bad, so I could get by for a bit on just the community college pay.

I really just want one job.
