It makes me grateful for the existence of Revlon's Parfumerie line.
About a month ago, I was in another city (bra shopping), and having finished that I wandered over to Plato's Closet because I'd heard good things about it. I picked out a lacy scarf, and a good cross body bag.* As I waited in line I saw a display of nail polish and this:
I picked it up because it was inexpensive and I have very low resistance to shiny things.
I tried it tonight. Holy Mother of God. It was so bad that it triggered a headache which then triggered a toothache. The smell didn't leave when it dried. The smell didn't leave after I cleaned it off. Soap didn't work, nor did scented hand sanitizer. Nail polish stinks normally, and I'm accustomed to it, but at no point should I be worried that I'll always smell like chemical death.
I hastily applied Revlon's Autumn Spice and that seems to have covered it up well. I live in hope that the stink will go away eventually.
*Why are good cross body bags so hard to make? I want something big enough to throw all my crap in and go across my body.
