I just made clam chowdah. To clarify, Manhattan Clam Chowdah, which is superior to New England Clam Chowdah; fact.

Another fun fact: If you can’t remember which is which, Manhattan is dirty (red) & New England is clean (white).

I altered the recipe a fair amount. I used fresh clams & broth and a splash of wine. I added lots of fresh parsley and thyme at the beginning and left it in. I put in chopped carrots, gold zucchini & left over sweet corn that I knifed off the cob. It made A LOT, so I’ll be sharing with family & friends.
