Lazy Sun. Lit. Talk: Seasons Change Edition

First of all, is there anything like ‘80s pop sax?

As you all might’ve guessed from my annoying excitement this morning, IT’S FINALLY STARTING TO FEEL LIKE FALL HERE!!! I’m not sure I’ve ever been happier for summer to end—this one’s been so hot and humid and I’ve felt like an indoor kid almost the whole season.

Anyway, with fall, wonderful fall, upon my area, it’s got me thinking about how my reading habits change throughout the year. For example, in the summer, I always make sure to read at least one salacious celeb memoir. Now that we’re into Sept., I’ve started binging Gothic/horror/thriller lit. (C’mon, Halloween!). Come Dec./Jan., I’ll slip into some long, lovely Victorian novels.

That got me wondering, do other people do this? Do your reading habits change as the seasons change, too?

And don’t forget to update us on your latest reading:

1. What book did you most recently finish?

2. What are you reading now?

3. What’s next on your “to read” list?

4. Do you have/need any book recs?
