Do you guys remember this one? Jim Henson's The Storyteller? It's amazing. Seriously, it's one of my Top 10 Favorite Shows of All Time. Not even qualifying it with "children's shows." Actual favorite. Most of the episodes were written by Anthony Minghella (famous for directing The English Patient, The Reader, and The Talented Mr. Ripley among others), and the quality of the writing, directing, acting, costume and set designs (and of course puppets and puppeteering) are exquisite.

Also—so many famous people in it!

Julie from Nip/Tuck; The Witch from Sleepy Hollow; Ned Stark!; Robert Muldoon (aka the guy who says "Clever girl..." in Jurassic Park); Edina Monsoon!; and, of course, John Hurt in the titular role...

Anyway, it's tremendous and I figured some of you would know it and I want an echo chamber of its awesomeness.
