I am leaving next week for my annual LA trip to visit my family! I have grown to quite like it over there. The hiking is awesome, and as much as it pains me to say it, the food is arguably better than NYC (for most Asian and definitely for Mexican anyway).
The hard thing about LA is that I can't drive and my sister who usually drives me around doesn't have such an open schedule this year. So I was wondering what are things I can do and see without a car? I'll be in South Pasadena and can access the Gold Line with a bit of a walk. I can also easily get to Pasadena on the bus.
I'm excited for this trip. We have a lot of cool things planned (including a side trip to Joshua Tree), but I need some things to do when everyone is off doing their own thing. I like to eat food, see art and hike.
Oh, I also cant ride a bike (I'm useless).
