As Groupthink's official wedding correspondent, I would like to report on not one, not two, but ALL THE WEDDINGS that took place today here in Minnesota. After being signed into law in May, same sex marriages became legal at midnight last night. After the law was passed, Minneapolis Mayor (and general badass) R.T. Rybak offered to marry couples at City Hall starting at midnight. He married over 40 couples and was there until 6am this morning. SO AWESOME.

There is great coverage and tons of happy photos here and here. And here are photos of the first couple to be married at city hall and BRB, IT'S RAINING ON MY FACE.
