So two weeks ago (aka the week I was hospitalized against my will) a bunch of rules changed in the office about how we run software. Most of this was incredibly unclear and brand new, and I didn't know much about it aside from a 5 minute overview when I came back. As a result, I went from being one of my teams top performers, easily doing twice the amount of work as the rest of the team, to now only meeting average.

Today, I've gotten dozens of emails about corrections, we are short staffed again, and now I feel like the one thing I was spectacular at in life is also struggling. Uggggh, why can't they just teach me the right things and give me time to rebuild my rhythm and get back to being awesome?

I'm gonna go hide under a blanket now.

ETA: feel free to gripe about today.
