Mo’ne Davis is the First Girl to Throw a LLWS Shutout

Mo'ne Davis, 13 years old, made Little League history today after pitching a complete game shutout, leading the Taney Dragons of Philly to a 4-0 victory over the Nashville, Tennessee team. 8 strikeouts. Nobody walked. The girl was on fire.

Davis is only the fourth girl to play in the Little league World Series. Not pitch, play. Here's hoping she inspires more girls to get out there.
