My now ex-roommate finally returned her keys yesterday. I locked the deadbolt (we have no keys for it - so it can only be opened from inside) and she called me and was like, “I think you locked the deadbolt - I can’t get in.” Yes, that was on purpose bc I knew you would just come in the apartment without even knocking despite it not being your house anymore!
I got back from a conference super late saturday night. Yesterday a collaborator was in the city and wanted to hang. We did for a bit and then I very gratefully returned home. I was just spent after conferencing since wednesday.
The house is COMPLETELY mine. I am working from home, so I don’t have to interact with a single person today if I don’t want to. Glorious!
