My Best friend and her family has been living in Michigan, but there are no jobs in MI. They made the decision to move on out of the state. Her husband is currently working in Texas. While he has been near Houston she has had a baby, been organizing the estate sale, and trying to get their house ready to sell.
She is trying to raise money (about $900 for plane tickets) to bring her toddler, her baby and herself down to Texas for Thanksgiving so that her husband can meet her son. The baby will be one month old on the 26th. I'm sending her what I can through Paypal's friends & family option, but I think she'd rather sell off the furniture and things they can't really take with them on the move. I think we've talked a lot about how accepting help is hard.
If you are in or around Pontiac, MI, this is what she says about the estate sale: "I will be having an estate sale next weekend Sat 16th and Sun 17th from 10am to 5pm. Friday the 15th will be a friends only preview day from 12pm-7pm. We have lots of furniture including three desks, two matching buffets, chairs, two dining tables, and a ton of signed, limited edition art prints. I will do my best to provide photos, if you are looking for something specific, but I am trying to pull this off while caring for a newborn and a toddler. Message me if you need address and/or phone number. I also have a variety of used vehicles for sale. All need repair, most not running. 2002 Galant needs transmission; good motor, new tires, new shocks and struts, new brakes, recently alligned. 2000 S-10 to fix or for parts; new starter, new master cyllinder for clutch, good tires, good engine. 1989 VW Fox; new brakes, runs well, appears to have short to starter. Easy to pop start. Two 1996 VW Passats. One runs; needs brakes immediately. Exact match for color; one pinstriped; one not. One nearly perfect car between the two."
