We met the adoption kitty yesterday, fell in love and brought her home πŸ’•

It wasn’t without challenges. We’d only just left when she pooped and pee’d in the carrier bag. (Which boobieguy was holding on his lap πŸ™ˆ) The poor thing was way too nervous in the car. We drove back, cleaned the bag and her with the help of one if the employees and put her in the back seat this time with a big towel over it. She mewed the whole way home but got there without additional accidents.

On arriving home we kept her in the bathroom for half an hour with food and a litter tray (and treats and lots of petting for suriving the ride!), brought the car back and then let her explore the living room. And boy did she! She wasn’t scared for a second, instead jumping on and sniffing everything. She’d quickly decided this was home now and all was well. Untill she stuck her head into a tiny spot between two boards in the kitchen and gotten her head stuck πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ Boobieguy pried one of the boards loose and she was fine Thank Gods. After an hour of hanging under the coach it was enough. We then watched Harry Potter while she laid in between us, kneading and purring the whole time.

We even had to leave her for a few hours that night for the party and to sleep but she was an angel and didn’t wreck anything and used the litterbox perfectly 😊

She’s A Dream! She loves the blanket on the coach and has claimed it completely. And is happiest when we are both there with her(for skritches from boobieguy and stroking from me, preferably with all 4 hands haha). If one of us is gone she’s a bit antsy. I’m sure she’ll relax.

The only things we want to teach her to not do is bite when I pet her β€˜wrong’ and maybe kneading with slightly less claw haha. But for now she is just going to get pampered and loved and cuddled! πŸ’•
