Welcome To The Bitchery

I want to rave about a nail polish that I've yet to hear people talk about as much as Essie's Mademoiselle and Ballet Slippers and could work as a dupe. That polish is Revlon Sheer Translucide Nail Enamel Polish in Sheer Petal. It's a light sheer pink polish that in two coats give a pretty sheer pink. It lasts a long time with a good topcoat and makes any quality of nails look a bit cleaner(you know, for those who are too awesome to spend a lot of time on their nails ). Now, I'm not Oprah Rich, so I can't tell you whether this nail polish at five dollars( around four at Wal Mart, but I just found out) is equal to Essie's infamous sheer pink nail polishes at eight dollars a pop. Still, it's pretty good and a little cheaper, so it has a lot going for it.It's pretty great as a sheer, long lasting pink.If you have brown skin, don't be afraid of the pinkness of it all. For one thing, it's sheer, so it won't come out as the color in the bottle. Also, unless your nails are naturally flesh colored, It'll just come out as your nail color but lighter.

It's a nice color for when your nails are stained and you want to give them a break because it brings any nail color to a more uniform pink. I haven't tried it, but I'm sure that it'll look nice with a glitter polish or stamp-on decals (plain nails with fancy details are totally in style says me). They sell nail polish in the sheer style in other colors. There is Sheer Pink, Sheer Sweetie, Barely Peach, and Sheer Rose. I'm going to keep an eye out for other colors because I'm liking the sheer colors. I'm going to do my nails later this evening, so I'll post a picture afterwards. I am not the best at at-home manicures, but this nail polish makes my hands look a lot more polished despite my fumbling.

Have any of you guys found a nail polish that you like or a color that you're really digging?
