Because I decided to Adult and clean my apartment this weekend instead of writing a post, y'all get a quick little blurb about nails. WOOO!

Hai there little cabbages!
The other day, I did my nails all fancy-like. Now I'd like to show you a picture! And also talk about them, because y'all know my proclivity towards verbosity.
D'you like how huge my hand is? I do. Anywho! I got this fancy topcoat (though I suppose you could use it on its own as well) from Julep back in December, and finally got around to trying it out. I've got it layered over a neutral gray from Sephora's (now non-existent) OPI line. I'd link you to it, or tell you the name, but a) I forgot the name and b) it is no longer being sold under that name. Oh well. On top of all of them, I put my new obsession: Illamasqua's Matte Top Coat. Takes any polish, makes it not shiny! It does kinda lose it's matte quality after a day or two, but whatever. I like it.
A quick note about Julep - it's a monthly subscription service that, for $20/month, sends you nail polish (each box is valued at $40+). You get to pick out of any of their collections (though you take a quiz when you sign up that steers you towards whichever group they think you'd like the most), and you can choose to skip any month without charge. OK so. It was just pointed out to me that if you joined after December 18th, 2013, you can only skip every six months. However, if you're a polish junkie and find yourself spending more than $20 a month on polish ANYWAY, I really recommend the service. Fast, easy, the formulation of the polish is pretty fantastic, and always a fantastic selection.
If you want to try it out, please use my referral link, found here! As usual, I only ever link you guys to services and products that I actually use. Most of the time I love them, sometimes I like them but they're just not for me - but who knows, they could be just what you want/need! Anyone else get all fancy with the nail polish lately? Feel free to share in the comments!
