I'm trying to give up or cut down sugar. I know some people have had some success here. I have a few special triggers:
1. I work at a place where donuts and stuff like that are common freebies.
2. I often feel the urge to "treat" myself, and while i've had some success replacing sweets with nuts, i'd still like a treat that's not food at all.

ETA: Is there any good science on the whole "gluten is evil" thing?
