Does anyone have any experience with using an ESCO to supply your energy instead of Con Ed? If you have no idea what I'm talking about, the answer is probs no, so feel free to scroll directly down to the gif.
Direct Energy showed up at my door last night (which wasn't super cool, in retrospect), and I did sign up because I had been curious about ESCOs before. In looking at the actual numbers, I'm not sure it's going to make a ton of difference. It'll be relatively easy for me to cancel in the next couple of days (after that, still not hard, and still $0 to cancel, just slightly more of a hassle), so I just wanted to put out the feelers to see if anyone had experience with a different energy supplier. There are some horror stories online, but I don't feel like those types of message boards are the most reliable...(so I turn to a different message board for help).
These types of conversations make me feel like an old man.
