Where's the line? The idea that the media hasn't played a huge role in the spread of ebola hysteria is laughable. Ebola is deadly, sure. But the panic in the US is out of control. And frankly, the media capitalizing on fear with speculation and bad science has played a huge role in spreading that panic. That shouldn't be surprising; our news media has a long history of spreading fear to increase viewership/readership and therefore revenue.
