I didn't feel moved or touched or whatever, I felt cheated. At the end of a story I should feel satisfied. I shouldn't feel "well, that was a waste of time and effort, it would have been better if the protagonists had never started their journey."

I swear "artistic" stories are just as predictable as Disney movies, just in the opposite direction.
