I went shoe crazy on Amazon.

I bought a pair of Merrell pumps in February of 2013. They are a little scuffed, but if I bought some shoe shine stuff, they'd look pretty good. I paid around $80 for them. Well worth it for 17 months of almost constant wear. My husband had a pair of steel toed hiking boots from Merrell that he wore on construction sites for 2-3 years. I've had some great, comfortable, classy looking Merrells (usually bought on clearence because I'm kind of cheap) that I have worn at work before. I was totally comfortable spending the money on them.

I looked today and a black pair was $50.

And the Expresso pair was only $30.

And then when I checked my wishlist, this cute pair of boots was only $9. With the prime, it's the only pair I have to pay shipping on.

I've bought Wanted boots before. I wore them while my toe was broken and the orthopedic doctor thought they were a great choice, but the soles fell off about the time my toe healed. Around $10 is probably about right.

This will probably be my big birthday purchase. Vive la chaussures!
