At the prior workplace those calls usually meant some gripe about some tiny stupid thing: like when I was out sick I checked my work email account and charged the time to the firm. Was told that when I am out that it's not my problem; but the next time I was out I got bitched at because I DIDN'T check my phone messages from home. I am so glad I am gone from that crazy ass place.
