Everyone has that thing that they can't do, or have a hard time doing that seems easy to just about everyone else.
Following my therapist's advice I'm trying to do all things that I think assholes do. By assholes, I mean inconsiderate selfish people. aka putting myself first.
Today I asked the person in front of me on the train to put their seat up when they were leaving. Train seats, depending on the model can recline a lot. Literally, smash your laptop/ lay in your lap recline.
It went down like this.
Me to Me "Don't over think, just say it STOP THINKING!!!."
Me: "Excuse me, can you put your seat up. It makes it easier for me to get out."
Recliner: "Oh yes! I'm soo sorry. Sorry sorry."
Seat it up, I can get out.
So where have you won in things that seem so simple to everyone else?
