So I was looking at videos on cooking light's website, when I came across this gem:

Bringing Water to a Boil Quickly

Start with hot water you say? Really? I've been starting with chunks of ice.


Leave the lid on? Who would have thunk it?

Someone thought this topic deserved 20 seconds of filming?

I'm going to put on my judgey pants for the moment, but I think anyone who has to be told to start with hot water to get it to a boil faster, probably should not be in the kitchen in the first place.
