I want a haircut, my husband does not want me to get said haircut. He's not forbidding me or anything, he's just like "Aw, no" sadface puppydog eyes.
Said haircut is very similar to haircuts I've had in the past, both before and after we were a couple. It's a pixie cut, only with long bangs sort of. If I don't get this haircut, the only other thing I find acceptable is to grow my hair out reeeeally long, which I have not had in about 8 years or so. I may end up hating it and having to go back to the haircut I originally wanted. I remember it being a lot of work, there were a lot of snarls involved.
I just really feel like short hair is ME, if that makes sense. If he made some choice like growing a beard or a haircut I didn't like, I would probably grumble about it as well. I just love it when I have short hair so much, and it makes me sad that he doesn't share that love.
I guess my question is, am I a bad wife for wanting to go ahead with this? Has anyone else had this conflict before?
