My old boss posted this on facebook.
A few people commented on it, including one of my old coworkers, pointing out that poverty levels have also gone up since Obama became president. I said "If the dow is up, but more people are in poverty, what does that mean for trickle-down-economics?", which I think is a fairly passive way of trying to make my point, but, to be fair, I knew that this old coworker loves Reagan more than his wife.
Then, this morning, I happened to be on the train with another old coworker. He was laughing because everyone was piling on my Reagan-loving coworker for being okay with the Arizona "Religious Freedom" law.
I was thinking about it just now, and I wondered how it hadn't shown up on my thread, because I check facebook pretty regularly, and posts with that many comments usually float towards the top. So I went to look at his page, and we're not friends anymore! I'm a little sad that I won't get to see the ridiculous shit he posts any more, but I'm taking the fact that he didn't try to argue his point, just unfriended me, as a win.
