*spoilers* I hope this hasn’t been brought up already (though I don’t remember coming across it). I just caught up with the summer finale.

WTF was that?! I knew after so much build up, I was bound to be disappointed, but this was a combination of WTF that I had no way to prepare for. It was like the twist ending in Sleepaway Camp crossed with the desperate scramble of post-season 4 One Tree Hill.

I guess it was a decent effort to connect the story to current issues with the Cece being Charles plot line, but it felt sooooo shoehorned in. The ending was also super rushed, and the episode was almost entirely exposition (so they could un-write themselves out of that corner). No explanation of Melissa’s connection to everything or that A club that came out against Ali one season, but I guess the writers decided to forget about it. Also, how awful are Alison’s parents? They leave their baby alone with a child under the age of 5, and it’s the child’s fault for a terrible accident happening? Which results in a lifetime sentence to a mental health institution? WTF??? And the cliffhanger. Wow, this show just refuses to die. I wish it would let me go (though my motivation is dramatically waning now that A has *finally* been revealed). Okay, I feel better now. Anyone else who still watches the show (all 3 of us) need to get your feelings out?
