I like to consider myself a "grown up" creative. To me, this means more than anything that I don't get overly emotionally involved with my work in specific. I don't mind "killing my darlings," as the saying goes, because they're *not* that darling. They're work I made to do a job. Fin.
But sometimes ... it's still a huge bummer when I do a presentation that I think will be wildly successful only to hear the client say, "Honestly, none of these are really speaking to me."
WHY DON'T YOU LIKE IT IT WILL BE THE BEST.
