Guys, I love Jezebel. It’s how I came to Groupthink, it’s how I get a lot of news, and I hold no grudge against its evolution. However, this n+1 piece detailing the history of women’s reactions to women’s magazines and ultimately the creation of the “lady blogosphere” is great, and articlulates something that I feel has always loomed in the background of most female-centric sites as an unmet need; the lady-caveat, the “likability” factor of having an online presence and an outspoken voice. So many feelings indeed. What do you guys think of it? I liked it so much I had to share it everywhere I could.
