Suppertime, Suppertime, Sup-Sup-Suppertime!
I know I was supposed to do this yesterday, but...Super Bowl. And the Captain made me a giant vegetable hoagie. GIANT. VEGETABLE. HOAGIE. ZOMG.
"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes—and ships—and sealing-wax—
Of cabbages—and kings—
And why the sea is boiling hot—
And whether pigs have wings."
"But wait a bit," the Oysters cried,
"Before we have our chat;
For some of us are out of breath,
And all of us are fat!"
"No hurry!" said the Carpenter.
They thanked him much for that.
"A loaf of bread," the Walrus said,
"Is what we chiefly need:
Pepper and vinegar besides
Are very good indeed—
Now if you're ready, Oysters dear,
We can begin to feed."*
So lay it on me GTers - what are you making this week? How are you saving money? Who's experimenting with an interesting ingredient? Who needs advice on how to cook [insert anything here]?
As previously discussed, please link recipes where possible, and feel free to solicit help from fellow followers of various diets (vegetarians and vegans, I'm looking at you).
I'll post my plan in the comments.
