WOOOOOOOOOO! Meal Plans! I know I'm a day late! WOOOOOOOOO! (Why yes, I am hoping my excitement supersedes my obvious laziness in not getting this up yesterday)

Just so you know:

This week is National School Breakfast Week - even if you don't have kids in school, please help in ensuring that all school aged kids and teenagers have access to:

* Free and/or reduced cost school breakfasts and/or lunches

* Nutritionally sound meals made with whole foods: if you want to see what's being served in US schools, check this out. Want to see what makes the plate around the world? Then try these.

* Expansion of school gardening programs, particularly in low income, inner city, and rural districts.

In other news, tomorrow is Mardi Gras, then Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. Like any good Catholic, I'm using Lent as the time when I actually attempt to do a New Year's resolution for "realsies", and thank you Jesus for providing a convenient time period in which to do that and still feel pious adjacent.

Since, I've decided to go vegan for Lent (CurrentlyKittah - I NEED YOU!), I need ideas for a Mardi Gras that is approximately 99-100% cheese.
