It's Sunday, and I have successfully done the following today:
1. Eaten Chili Lime Lays (and not getting laid by chiles or limes)
2. Thanked my drunk self for providing me with Cherry flavored Laffy Taffy for my hungover self.
3. Eaten half of a vegetable sandwich that the Captain foraged for me at the local wild hoagie shop.
Since I can't seem to ever do these without attempting to spread curious knowledge about food, allow me to point you in the direction of M.F.K. Fisher. Who is that, you ask? Well, first off, MFK Fisher uttered the single greatest directive of all time:
Mary Frances Kennedy Fisher - one of the 20th century's most influential food writers, founder of the Napa Valley Wine Library, and general bon vivant about town. I have decided that she is my guardian angel, fairy godmother, and long lost great grandmother, because...well, because I said so.
Tell me what you're cooking this week - link recipes if ya got 'em, and remember kids, Baron Von Flufferson is judging your work:
