Question for you all: is there ever a situation, short of stopping an employee from committing a crime or harming a person/animal, where it is appropriate to push or grab the wrists of an employee, specifically because you disagree with something they’re doing?

Edit: the closest I can come to describing what happened is a supervisor trying to block an employee from using a fire extinguisher on a flaming microwave and actually physically grabbing and shoving them out of the room.
