So we've been getting a lot of snow here lately, but most of it has been in my apartment...

For the past month or so, Bobby's fur has been full of dandruff, more than the usual amount of kitty flakes. I've been brushing her a lot and gave her a bath yesterday with special kitty shampoo that smells like coconuts (coconut kitty), but she's still flaking away.

I asked Dr. Google, but it told me that I should take her to the vet...I'd rather avoid that if possible. Kitty dandruff might be indicative of an internal condition, such as a parasite...ummm...

I acknowledge that her skin might be dry from the winter air, but she didn't flake this badly last winter. She's well-hydrated and I've been giving her wet food for about two weeks.

Has anyone else had this experience? Bobby HATES being brushed - she whines the whole time and I have to hold her down to do it. I'm thinking she might just have sensitive skin - should I be concerned?
