It seems to be a fairly slow day up in here, so I don't think I'll be taking up valuable news space.
The kids and I are going up to AK in a couple weeks to visit and I need pants. In the past two days, I've been to two Ross stores, a TJ Maxx, Burlington, Target, and Gap. Gap was having a sooper dooper sale yesterday and a got a pair of jeans that was originally $69 for about $13 with tax! Score! But that's it. None of the other stores had anything in my size, in a decent style, for under $30. I don't have much to spend, but I'd really like to find something like those Zumba style pants with the wide elastic waist, loose cargo type legs, maybe that snap up? I have a good pair of jeans now, but other than that, I mostly live in my yoga pants and I don't want to tear those up camping and hiking and stuff. I wear a 14/16 depending on brand and cut and I have big calves, so tapered and skinny styles look weird on me. There have to be stores that I don know about. I usually get my clothes at Old Navy, Gap, Target, but not the preppy style stuff.
For no reason, here's a weather update: It's 3:30 here, but it looks like a horror movie outside. It looks like 8 at night, I can barely see across the road and then KA-BOOM! I loooove the storms here, they just don't happen like this in Alaska.
