The best part about Christmas alone, besides PJs and not having to make small talk with distant relatives? Making stuff you actually want to eat!
And then, desert!
I think what I'm going to do is halve the roll recipe and make a sandwich Christmas day, using a leftover chicken breast. Maybe tenders on Christmas eve. And chocolate mousse all day every day.
And today I made pasta with my first attempt at béchamel, or at least a really basic version. Still good.
