First day back to work after foot surgery. Come back to find pretty much 80% of what I asked my team to get done while I was out was not, in fact, completed. And the phone prompt we have been trying to shut down since March (because no one in the office does that service anymore, and when providers call us, we just have to give them the vendor's phone number), not only was NOT resolved, but the same people that agreed to shut down that prompt complained and demaned they reinstate it. So my team can be the call router, instead of them. Everyone agrees, the phone prompt is useless, yet NO ONE WILL ALLOW US TO SHUT IT DOWN. CORPORATE AMERICA, GO HOME, YOU'RE DRUNK. Ugh.
