After a police officer grabbed by the hair and punched a woman attending Pittsburgh's Pride Festival this past June, an internal investigation has cleared the officer of all wrongdoing.

According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, both an internal investigation and one done by an unnamed third party has exonerated the officer of any excessive force violations.

The Office of Municipal Investigations obtained footage of the incident shot by a security camera 25-30 ft. away that provided evidence used to clear the officer. The attorney for the woman who was assaulted said he has yet to view the video and is planning to subpoena it this week.
