So I feel bad bitching when I haven't been around too much lately (the weekend was crazy and this past week was ugh), but may I? Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanks!

Got a call from my midwife last night to find out that, after much poking and draining of my blood, I have a confirmed case of The Gestational Diabetes.

It's not a completely huge deal, and I'm only pregnant for another 10 weeks, but it's still a pain in the ass. Limited carbs, sugar, and 4x/day finger-pricks to monitor blood sugar. Ugh. Gross.

Once I push this little jerk out, I am going to eat all the cookies. Until that magical day, if anyone has good resources for gestational diabetes/regular diabetes/recipes/websites for low-carb recipes/encouraging anecdotes that would be most welcome!
