I am cooking US Thanksgiving dinner this November! Last year my turkey had stubs of feathers in the skin (they were huge and gross but under the skin like... zits) as well as a considerable amount of pin feathers. How do you guys get those out?? Some web sites say use a propane torch but that is out of the question. There is also a thing called a pinning knife but to me it just looks like a regular butter knife. Last year I used pliers but it was such an overwhelming amount I didn't get them all. What's the best way to deal with this?
