I'm a copywriter, but there isn't nearly enough copywriting for me to do in this job, so I also train myself in various programming languages mostly focusing on front end stuff. I've been deeply immersed in Javascript for the past couple of weeks—like, valiantly trying to actually understand what the fuck is going on with objects and the oriented programming thereof—but I've decided to try winging an animated banner for our dev API page...and I realize I've forgotten like all the JQuery I've ever been taught. And I've USED JQuery for stuff.

I am really proud of the fact that I've taught myself the bare bones of a bunch of programming, and have even made a few things on my own. But sometimes this stuff just makes my brain leak out of my ears.
