This has been nagging me since my cousins turkey day meal at his house. Like always we had pork pie. I assume most cooks here make it or all have eatten it. Well this had no white sauce on top. My late grandmother always made it and also made a thick white sauce to put on top. My mother has no clue what that white sauce was I just know she added peas to it and always served the sauce warm from the stove. Its really good with a warmed up slice of pork pie. Anyone put a white sauce over their pork pie? Her pork pie had ground pork, potato and onion, I assume there could be more but those were main ingrediants. So what could the white sauce have been.
