Update: Thank you all! I'm bad with words when it comes to like...being neutral and formal and stuff, so these really helped me out. I was freaking out and was all, "OMG, this poor person! How mortifying for them!" She sounded so tired and pretty down :( Anyway, thanks!
So I just got a voicemail from someone who got the wrong number and thought that she was calling her mom. The voicemail talked about how she was away for the weekend and missed her mom's call and wanted to let her mom know that so-and-so had just passed away. Because of the nature of the voicemail, I want to text this person and let them know that they got the wrong number. I should do that, right? Because like...I would feel like an asshole if I didn't, you know?
BUT HOW DO I WORD THIS WITHOUT SOUNDING LIKE A CREEP OR SOUNDING WEIRD?
